Movement of Goods between Korea and Japan

Basic Principle
No special treatment or exemption is envisaged for international transportation of between Korea and Japan during the 2002 FIFA World Cup™

However, a close collaboration will be maintained between Korea and Japan to ensure a safe and swift movement of goods between the two countries.

Recommendations
To facilitate the movement of goods between Korea and Japan it is recommended that travelers; (1) utilize ATA carnet documents for temporary admission (2) utilize hand carried/unaccompanied baggage duty free exemptions (3) utilize duty exemption on good to be re-exported
