Accommodation
Visitors to Korea during the 2002 FIFA World Cup will have
a wide choice of accommodation at each of the ten World Cup host cities:
from super-deluxe hotels to moderately-priced, yet clean and convenient
hotels, economical and practical inns, warm-hearted home stays, and
training centers and campsites.
Reservations for hotels are easy to make through the 2002 FIFA
World Cup Accommodation Bureau Korea which is the entity, under
license from FIFA and KOWOC, charged with all day-to-day responsibilities
for the 2002 FIFA World Cup hotel inventory in Korea. Its hotel
inventory consists of well over 200 participating hotels across
the ten World Cup venues.
For budget hotels, inns, homestays and other types of alternative
accommodation facilities, a separate reservation system has been
developed by the Korea Information & Communications Co., Ltd.,
under the license from the Korea National Tourism Organization.
