How to Find Your Seat

How to Find Your Seat
First, check the details about your seat printed on the ticket.

¨ç Ticket holder's name ¨è Host city ¨é Number of the match
¨ê Competing teams ¨ë Time for the start of match ¨ì Date of the match
¨í Seat class ¨î Ticket price: US$ (tickets purchased outside Korea), or Korean £Ü (purchased in Korea)
¨ï Sectors
• A sector means one of four specific areas of the stadium divided according to four cardinal directions. One is not allowed to cross over from one sector to another once you are within the stadium.
• You need to follow the colored signboards without the "X"mark to get to the right sector.
¨ð Seat information
• Find your seat by checking the information in the order of
Gate/Entrance ¡æ Block ¡æ Row ¡æ Seat Number.
Second, decide the direction of the sector (N, S, E or W) in which your seat is located.
Then go to the sector according to the mark (¨ï) in your ticket. You may want to get there by following the color signboards without an "X" mark.
Third, after arriving at the sector, find the Gate and Entrance printed on your ticket. Some stadiums may have a Gate and an Entrance at the same place while others may not.
  • Once you arrived at the stadium, decide the direction you should go to for entrance.
• The World Cup stadiums in Korea are all divided into four sectors according to four primary directions (North, South, East and West), and the sectors are marked in different colors. However, color combinations may differ from one stadium to another.
• The distinctive color of a sector is also applied to the Gate or other structures leading to it for easy identification.
• One needs to follow the 8-color box without an "X" mark.
Fourth, pass through the Gate and Entrance, and move to the appropriate Block.
Fifth, in the right Block, find your Row and, finally, your seat.
If you have any problem along the way, do not hesitate to ask for help from a nearby volunteer helper or a KOWOC representative.

Notes
Gate and Entrance
  • You need to decide the direction to go toward. Check the Gate and/or Entrance printed on your ticket.
• Some stadiums may have just Gates or Entrances while others have both. If either of these two is not applicable, the ticket will indicate so by the marking "-"in the relevant blank.
• As an example, Sangam World Cup Stadium in Seoul has Entrances only without Gates, so a ticket will show a "-"mark on the "Gate" blank. Accordingly, ticket holders need only go directly to the Entrance designated on the ticket without concerning themselves with a Gate.
Block
  • Once you are within the stands, after passing through a Gate or/and an Entrance, you will face signs marking Blocks. The symbols used for the signs can differ from stadium to stadium: A and B, A1 and B2, or 1A and 1B, etc. Check your ticket first.
Row
  • A Block is generally made up of forty Rows with the nearest row to the football pitch being Row one. (Please note that stadiums in Busan, Daegu and Suwon use Lines instead of Rows.)
Seat
  • All seats in the stands have their own number, starting with 1 from left.
