When using the railroad service for a certain
length of period, one can benefit from special ticket services:
Free Use Tickets and KR Pass(available only to foreigners, KR
Pass can be obtained at2 designated travel agencies outside
Korea. |

- KR PASS
KR Pass exchange tickets can be obtained at designated travel
agencies outside Korea and after arriving in Korea, exchanged
with Passes at designated train stations(Seoul, Yeongdeungpo,
Daejeon, Dongdaegu, Busan, Gyeongju, Gwangju), the Railroad
Information or at the Incheon Airport.
The KR Pass is only for foreigners which allows use of all trains
(except subway trains) without restrictions on sections and
frequency.
Three types of passes: NORMAL, SAVER (for 2-5 people) and YOUTH
PASS(for age 13~25).
Term of validity : 3days(53,100won), 5days(79,600won), 7days(100,600won)
and 10 days(116,100won). |
